The wide Pangbuk Ri (6625m) massif poked up above the intervening mountains on the trek between Shingdip and Shishapangma Advanced Base Camp. Pangbuk Ri was climbed for the first time on November 11, 2011 by Chad Kellogg and David Gottlieb in a 50-hour push.
